WHAT CAUSES PIMPLES

A pimple is also known as zit or spot. It causes the inflammation, itchiness and scaring of skin. They are mostly seen on face, chest, back, neck and shoulders. The treatments of pimples are very simple. The main cause of pimples is the dehydration of body and lack of balanced diet. Other factors that contribute are blocked pores, dead skin cells and infected bacteria. Hormonal changes that occur within the body are major contributing factor, especially if you are a teenager.

According to surveys more than 80% of teenagers get acne at some point of. It is disorder of oil glands and hair follicles. It is mostly due to oily and unhygienic skin. The oil glands present on the surface of body become overactive and thus cause pimples. The oily skin attracts the dust which results in blackheads on skin. The pores of oily skin, when exposed to dust and polluted environment, are turned into black spots. Pimples can also be caused by constipation, so be sure to have proper diet.

Intake fresh fruit juices and at least 10-15 glass of water are very important. You should consume all the necessary vitamins and nutrients in your diet.  Exposure to sun is one of the main causes of pimples. Too much exposure to sun or heat is harmful to every type of skin. Always avoid going in sun without any reason.  Over washing of face can also results in pimples. Many people are seen washing their face 5-6 times a day. The skin will make more sebum thus making the condition more worse. Keep your face clean, wash it only twice or thrice a day not more then this.

Use of soaps having chemicals makes pimples to cause more infection. Never scrub or rub your face harshly. Use of make-up having chemicals and oil also causes pimples. Use oil free cosmetics that are specially designed for such skin and never pop or squeeze your pimples. It only helps bacteria to infect more efficiently. People who do not allow their skin to breath in fresh air also suffer from pimples.

Avoid garments such as nylon or spandex that do not allow air to pass through. Instead use cotton fabric and oft stuff. Use of some anti-depressants, steroids and birth control pills also contribute to acne or pimples .Do not use such medicines without the prescription of a doctor. Too mush stress can also cause pimples.
